Karo Parisyan Tests Positive For Painkillers; Fight With Koscheck In Jeopardy
by Jason Benfari on February 12, 2009

FiveKnuckles.com has obtained the official NSAC drug testing results from UFC 94 which have revealed that Karo Parisyan has tested positive for pain killers in the wake of his split decision victory over Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 94.

According to the results, Parisyan tested positive for Hydrocodone, Hydromorphone, and Oxymorphone.

No official word yet on what this may mean in terms of fines or suspensions but it appears that a potential match up between Parisyan and Josh Koscheck which was rumored for May 23 is in serious jeopardy.

Parisyan has expressed surprise about the positive results stating that he revealed a list of all of the medications before the fight and had not violated any regulations.

Parisyan has the opportunity to appeal the findings of the commission and appears to be headed in that direction.

We'll have more as this story continues to develop.
