UFC 145 continues to build as a welterweight matchup has been added pitting Keith Wisniewski against Chris Clements according to mmaweekly.com.
Wisniewski (28-13-1) debuted at UFC Live: Cruz vs. Johnson in early October and took on UFC veteran, Josh Neer. Neer took the bout via second round TKO from a cut. The loss to Wisnewski snapped a six fight win streak. Wisniewski holds victories over Jorge Santiago, Pete Spratt and Steve Berger.
Clements (10-4) is on a four fight win streak. He last defeated TUF alum and former UFC fighter, Rich Clementi, in the third round via TKO to punches in the regional circuit. Clements debut in the UFC will also mark his first outing with a big name promotion.
Matchup wise, Wisniewski has the obvious advantage in experience. Wisniewski has fought with some of the best in Jorge Masvidal, Shinya Aoki and even holds wins over notables such as Santiago. Wisniewski has also shown his grappling prowess with 15 submission wins. However what Clements lacks in experience, he makes up for in striking. The heavy handed Clements has ended all his wins via TKO/KO.
UFC 145 is scheduled on March 24 at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.
