Kimbo Slice offers to replace Mark Coleman in Tito Ortiz bout
by Natalia Baage on October 06, 2009

Current TUF 10 contestant Kimbo Slice has offered to step in for Mark Coleman at UFC 106 to fight Tito Ortiz.

In the very early hours of the morning, Ortiz stated on his Twitter page that Coleman had withdrew from their upcoming fight, which is set to take place on Nov. 21. While there has not been any confirmation from the UFC, the reported withdrawal is seeming more and more likely to be confirmed.

Approximately an hour after Ortiz's post, Slice posted the following on his Twitter page: "shit I'll take on @titoortiz"

Nine hours after that statement, Slice made another comment: "STOP STOP STOP...my remarks towards tito was said as a joke but i still want to her was Tito has to say about it"

Ortiz has not yet responded to the comments. However, it does bring up an interesting storyline. Slice is currently a contestant on TUF 10 and does not have a contract with the UFC. UFC 106 takes place before the finale of TUF 10.

The opponent for Ortiz's UFC 106 bout is yet to be changed. While it is very unlikely that Slice will replace Coleman, it is uncertain who will be the next to fight "The Huntington Beach Bad Boy."
