UFC 98 is now complete, again, as Team Quest fighter Krzysztof Soszynski will fill in for the injured Houston Alexander. UFC 98 takes place on May 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Krzysztof Soszynski vs. Andre Gusmao light-heavyweight bout will likely end up on the un-aired preliminary portion of the card.

Gusmao's original UFC 98 opponent, Houston Alexander, suffered a broken hand while training. Alexander joins Quinton Jackson, Frank Mir, Josh Koscheck, Yushin Okami and James Irvin, who all withdrew from the card for various injuries.

The "Ultimate Fighter" season 8 cast member, Soszynski, extended his win streak with a submission victory over former WEC light-heavyweight champion Brian Stann last month at UFC 97.

The submission win netted the TKO and IFL veteran a $70,000 bonus for the evening's "Submission of the Night." 

Gusmao is coming off his first career loss in his UFC debut against talented light-heavyweight prospect Jon Jones at UFC 87. Prior to the loss, the undefeated Gusmao reeled of four straight wins for the now-defunct IFL promotion.
