LIVE COVERAGE of UFC 118 "Penn vs. Edgar 2"

Tonight's card is coming to you live from TD Garden in Boston Massachusetts. This will mark the first time that the UFC has held an event in Massachusetts. Frankie Edgar will defend his lightweight title for the first time against former lightweight champion BJ Penn in a rematch from UFC 112, which saw Edgar win the belt from the heavily favored Penn. Boxing legend James Toney will also being making his first appearance in the octagon tonight against former 5 time world champion Randy Couture in the co-main event of the evening, in what many have labeled a "Boxing vs. MMA" match.

UFC 118 Main Card Blow-By-Blow:

Nate Diaz vs. Marcus Davis

Round 1 -  Yves Lavigne will handle the action in the first bout of the main card. The New England native Marcus Davis has the support of the crowd as he makes his way to the ring. He is checked by the ref and makes his way into the cage. Nate Diaz makes his entrance to the boos of a hostile crowd. They meet in the center of the cage for their instructions by the ref. Both men touch gloves and we are under way. Diaz with the reach advantage lands some solid jabs. Davis lands a solid right that sends Diaz to the mat. Davis looks to finish and and Diaz does a good job avoiding more damage. The fight back to their feet to the chant of "Diaz sucks". Davis lands more jabs while getting nailed yet again with a hard left hand. Nate clinches against the cage but Davis spins out. Nate seems to be finding his range now as he lands more shots to Davis's face. Both fighters are swinging away now, but Nate seems to be the more accurate of the two. Both fighters walk to the corner bloody. Fiveknuckles scores the round 10-9 for Nate Diaz

Round 2 - The second round starts and the ref has the doctor look at the cut on Davis's eye. The fight continues after the short break. Davis keeps trying to land the big power shot but Diaz is able to slip them. Diaz continues to land the crisp jab and use his reach. Both fighters are looking tired now, but the kid from Stockton is landing the more accurate shots. Davis clinches quickly and is thrown off by Diaz. Davis...
