The Ultimate Fighter 10 continued to pull in low ratings this week, as the viewership numbers pull in 2.4 million.
This week's episode featured a quarterfinal match up between Brendan Schaub and Jon Madsen. Schaub won via second-round KO to book a spot in the semifinals. Although the season is already halfway through its quarterfinal fights, it is not bringing in a larger number of viewers.
Season 10's biggest selling point was former Elite XC veteran Kimbo Slice. The season's third episode, when Slice fought former IFL heavyweight champion Roy Nelson, pulled in a series-breaking record of 5.3 million viewers. The first episode of the season set a series premiere record for Spike TV with 4.1 million viewers.
Next week's episode, airing on Nov. 25, will be a two-hour special featuring the remaining two quarterfinal bouts of James McSweeney vs. Matt Mitrione (supposedly - Slice or Scott Junk could serve as a replacement) and Darrill Schoonover vs. Marcus Jones.
The season's viewership numbers are below:
Episode 1: 4.1 million
Episode 2: 2.9 million
Episode 3: 5.3 million
Episode 4: 2.8 million
Episode 5: 2.8 million
Episode 6: 2.8 million
Episode 7: 2.5 million
Episode 8: 2.5 million
Episode 9: 2.4 million
Episode 10: 2.4 million
