This Friday night former world kickboxing champion Lou Neglia will present Ring of Combat XXXI live at The Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City, NJ.

Neglia has been holding mixed martial arts events since 2000. Many of today's top MMA stars have made their bones fighting for Ring of Combat. Current UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar, former UFC welterweight champion Matt Serra, Josh Koscheck, Dan and Jim Miller, Kurt Pellegrino and current Bellator lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez have fought at one time or another for Ring of Combat.

Many of the competitors competing on the card train with schools run by current UFC stars Ricardo Almeida, Pellegrino, Serra-Ray Longo and Renzo Gracie's academy in NYC. I have been to a handful of Ring of Combat events and they are always exciting. Each fight has the opportunity to give the fan a glimpse into the future.

Friday night's card will consist of 13 bouts including five title fights ranging in the flyweight to middleweight divisions. The first match-up is scheduled to begin at 8:30pm EST and can be seen on Go Fight Live.
