The Maximum Fighting Championship's "Payoff" event is officially set to go down as all fighters competing on tomorrow night's event made weight, except Carlo Prater, earlier in the day.

MFC 22 takes place tomorrow night, Oct. 2, from the River Cree Resort and Casino in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and it will be shown live at 10 p.m. ET on HDNet.

The event is headlined by a middleweight bout between UFC veteran Jason MacDonald and TUF 4 winner Travis Lutter. Both Lutter and MacDonald weighed in at 185.5 pounds. 

In the co-main event, a lightweight title bout between MFC lightweight champion Antonio McKee and Carlo Prater is now a three-round, non-title fight, after Prater failed to make weight. Prater came in at 158 pounds and McKee tipped the scales at 156 pounds. 

"I'm extremely disappointed in Carlo," commented MFC Owner/President Mark Pavelich about Prater missing weight. "It's not acceptable to miss weight any time, but it's a gigantic mistake to miss it for a title fight."

In other bouts of note, former UFC fighters Luigi Fioravanti and John Alessio will square off in a welterweight bout, while UFC veterans Mike Nickels and David Heath will face off in a light-heavyweight bout.

In addition, UFC and KOTC vet Marvin Eastman will take on Ryan Jimmo in a light-heavyweight tilt, and well-traveled veteran Pete Spratt will take on undefeated prospect Nathan Gunn.

Also of note, a featherweight bout between Mike Bruno and Evan Sanquin that was slated to appear on MFC 22 was scrapped from the event after Bruno suffered an injury in training.
