Mahood Admits Steriod Use, Will Likely Retire

Bill Mahood tested positive for the anabolic steroid Drostanalone in wake of his light heavyweight bout at Strikeforce “Strikeforce at the Playboy Mansion” on Sept. 29 in Beverly Hills, Calif., according to a report released by the California State Athletic Commission. Mahood released a public statement Tuesday on the Internet admitting he had used the non-approved substance to aid in the recovery of a hip injury. Mahood also indicated that he will likely retire from competition due to reoccurring injuries.
