Martin Kampmann and Rick Story set to square off at UFC 139 in November
by Paulo Silva on August 17, 2011

Welterweights Martin Kampmann and Rick Story will look to rebound from recent losses when they square off on the UFC 139 fight card on Nov. 19 in San Jose, California, the UFC announced Wednesday.

Kampmann (17-5) dropped back-to-back decisions to fellow contenders Jake Shields and Diego Sanchez before an injury forced him out of a June bout with John Howard, while Story (13-4) had his six-fight UFC win streak snapped by last-second replacement Charlie Brenneman at UFC on Versus 4.

UFC 139 is headlined by heavyweight champ Cain Velasquez vs. Junior dos Santos and also features bantamweights Urijah Faber vs. Brian Bowles.

Giada Esposito: I think Kampmann pulls off a late sub in this one. I see Story controlling the fight in the early rounds, and a very active Kampmann pushing hard as the fight goes on, similar to his fight with Shields. Except that Shields is a lot better than Story. :D snuff: War Kampmann! I see a late choke. GO HARD: war story!!!
