Mike Pyle vs. Jesse Lennox set for UFC 115 in June
by Jacob Camargo on February 16, 2010

A welterweight bout between Mike Pyle and Jesse Lennox has reportedly been verbally agreed upon for the un-aired preliminary portion of the UFC 115 event in June.

Though not officially announced, UFC 115 is expected to take place on June 15 at GM Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Pyle (19-6-1) is coming off of a loss against Jake Ellenberger at UFC 108 in January. Prior to the loss, he picked up his first UFC win over Chris Wilson at UFC Fight Night 19 in September. Pyle sports a 1-2 mark with the UFC, with a loss coming in his debut with the promotion against Brock Larson at UFC 98.

The well traveled Pyle has competed for an array of other notable promotions during his 10-year career such as EliteXC, Strikeforce, the IFL, Sengoku, Affliction, Shooto and the WEC. He holds other notable career wins over the likes of Jon Fitch, Shonie Carter, Gustavo Machado and Dan Hornbuckle.

Lennox (11-2) most recently suffered a unanimous decision loss to Rick Story at UFC Fight Night 20 in Jan. 11. He previously won four straight fights, which included a win in his UFC debut against Danillo Villefort at UFC 101 in August as well as a win in his lone appearance in the WEC against Blas Avena.

The Extreme Challenge, Adrenaline MMA and IFL veteran has scored stoppages in all of his 11 career wins.
