Heavyweights Matt Mitrione (4-0) and Christian Morecraft (7-1), lightweights Joe Lauzon (19-6) and Curt Warburton (7-2) and lightweights Michael Johnson (8-5) and Edward Faaloloto (2-1) will all meet at UFC on Versus 4, according to UFC.com.
UFC on Versus 4 will take place on June 26 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Every since his appearance on The Ultimate Fighter, Mitrione has gone undefeated inside the Octagon. The former NFL player has combined his size with fluent striking to create a serious prospect in the heavyweight division. Mitrione's last fight was a quick TKO victory over Tim Hague UFC Fight Night 23.
After a disappointing UFC debut that saw him get knocked out by Stefan Struve in the second round after dominating the first. Morecraft responded with a dominating performance against Sean McCorkle at UFC Fight Night 24.
Joe Lauzon will look to rebound following his submission loss to George Sotiropoulos at UFC 123. Lauzon came out and won the first round before tiring in the second frame. Prior to the loss Lauzon turned in one of the best performances of his career when he absolutely dominated Gabe Ruediger in every facet of the fight.
Warburton will look to push his UFC record past .500 after going 1-1 in his first two bouts. The Brit dropped his promotional debut to Spencer Fisher at UFC 120. The decision was highly controversial as many thought that Warburton had done enough to knock off "The King." Warburton responded with a decision victory over Maciej Jewtuszko at UFC 127.
Michael Johnson looks to climb back into the Octagon following his loss to Jonathan Brookins at The Ultimate Fighter Finale. Johnson had Brookins rocked and confused in the first frame of the season finale before succumbing to Brookins' wrestling over the course of the final two rounds. Johnson showed some heavy hands and solid wrestling throughout his time on The Ultimate Fighter.
The Hawaiian Edward Faaloloto will make his UFC debut after his short stint in the WEC. Faaloloto went 0-1 with the former promotion, a TKO to Anthony Njokuani. He had gone 2-0 with the Hawaiian based X-1 promotion prior to his WEC debut.
