Agnes McFedries-Kennedy, 51, mother of UFC Fighter Drew McFedries, was found dead in an alley in Davenport this past Saturday. A subsequent autopsy revealed that McFedries-Kennedy died of an apparent homicide. Though police are not releasing details at this point, they are investigating and interviewing "people of interest" thought to be involved with the case according to Capt. David Struckman via qctimes.com.

Family members declined comment but spoke very highly of her in her obituary.

"If she believed she had something you liked, it was yours, mattering not if it was clothing or a trinket, she would make you take it and in the end convince you that you were doing her a favor.”

Drew McFedries (6-2) is scheduled to face Patrick Cote (11-4) at UFC Fight Night 12 on January 23.
