UFC 9 alum Nick Osipczak is the newest name that has reportedly been added to the fight card of UFC 105, which will take place on Nov. 14 in Manchester, England, reported MMAJunkie.com today.
Osipczak's opponent will be TUF 7 alum Matt Riddle, reported MMA Unlimited. Both men have verbally agreed to the bout, while the paperwork is set to be issued within the next few days.
The slated fight card is full of British fighters and TUF 9 alums. So while a main fight has not yet been arranged, the event still consists of a lot of talent.
British superstar Michael Bisping (18-2) will try to recover from his devastating loss to Dan Henderson at UFC 100. His only other loss came from Rashad Evans at UFC 78. Bisping will take on Denis Kang (32-11), who is 1-1 in his only two fights in the UFC.
TUF 9 alums will include Brits James Wilks (welterwight winner), Ross Pearson (lightweight winner), Osipczak, Andre Winner, and American Damarques Johnson.
Johnson and Winner are the only TUF 9 fighters on the card without an official UFC win.
UFC 105 will also host the debut of Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, who recently signed with the UFC. His opponent has not yet been named. Nogueira holds wins over Vladimir Matyushenko, Edwin Dewees, Dan Henderson and Kazuhio Nakamura (x2).
The UFC 105 fight card has not been officially announced yet, but it is a lengthy roster.
