No more Rashad Evans and Quinton Jackson
by Natalia Baage on September 06, 2009

Quinton Jackson has landed the role as B.A. Baracus in the upcoming remake of "The A-Team." As we reported earlier this week, the filming of the movie will conflict with his UFC 107 bout against his rival Rashad Evans, the fight has been called off indefinitely.

With the movie's filming set to start later this month, it would have taken away Rampage's time to train for the fight.

As of Saturday afternoon, the following day, Evans had not yet been informed by the UFC that the fight against his enemy had been postponed.

According to MMAFanhouse.com, Evans' manager, Jervis Cole, said that their training camp has yet to speak with the UFC about any changes in Evans' schedule.

"As far as we know, the fight is still on," Cole said.

Evans will start training for his fight against Rampage in the middle of October.

Dana White is currently in Italy, as revealed via his personal Twitter page.  This has been cited as a reason why the Evans camp is yet to hear the final word from the UFC management.

The feud between Rampage and Evans began earlier this year in March at UFC 96 after Evans' teammate, Keith Jardine, lost a unanimous decision to Rampage.  Evans was called to the Octagon to hype a possible bout between the two fighters.  The two were also pitted against each other as coaches on the upcoming season of "The Ultimate Fighter 10," which premieres on Sept. 16 on Spike TV.

"The A-Team" has been given a release date of June 2010.  Actors Liam Neeson and Bradley Cooper have been cast as the other lead roles, while Joe Carnahan will direct.  Previously, rappers Common and The Game had been rumored to play Baracus.
