Pat Miletich hopes to make amends with Dana White; may return to the octagon
by Gavin Vincent on August 04, 2009

Pat Miletich and Dana White have expressed their genuine dislike for one another involving a number of disagreements over the years. At the crux of the feud is a conflict over who would host the third season of Spike TV's "The Ultimate Fighter". White apparently told Miletich that he would be coach opposite Carlos Newton and get the chance to avenge an earlier loss while simultaneously fulfilling his passion to coach. Miletich felt betrayed when it was revealed not long after, that Tito Ortiz and Ken Shamrock got the nod instead.

The two men had subsequent run-ins after that involving other issues, but Miletich is ready to put his differences with the UFC frontman behind him.

"I'm done arguing with people," Miletich told Fanhouse. "It's just not worth it."

Miletich may be looking to get back into competition and feels confident he can bury the hatchet with White this weekend at UFC 101. Ideally, Miletich would like to announce his return to the UFC but was quoted as saying no organization was set and he'll know within a couple weeks.
