Paul Taylor out of UFC 112 fight
by Natalia Baage on April 10, 2010

British fighter Paul Taylor has been forced out of his UFC 112 fight against John Gunderson for unknown medical reasons.

The news came moments ago via Shawn Tompkins, Gunderson's coach, through his Facebook account:

"Fight is off Paul Taylor can't be medically cleared for fight..... BULLSHIT !!!!!"

While speculations have pointed to a problem with his weight cut, it is now being reported that Taylor is suffering from a very bad migraine and was not medically cleared to fight.

This last-minute change for today's event means that the preliminary lightweight fight has been scrapped from the Abu Dhabi card. The UFC has yet to make an official announcement regarding the cancellation.

*Edit: The UFC has since release a short statement about the Taylor vs. Gunderson removal, but has not stated a specific reason for Taylor's medical issues.
