by Giada Esposito on February 15, 2010

UFC 112 will feature an exciting match-up of two undefeated light-heavyweight newcomers, when Alexander Gustafsson of Sweden faces American Phil Davis

According to Fightermag.se, the preliminary bout has now been added to the April 10 event in Abu Dhabi.

Gustafsson, who at 6'5" is a tall, lean light-heavyweight, made his UFC debut at UFC 105 last year scoring an impressive first-round knockout of Jared Hamman less than a minute into the fight. Overall Gustafsson is 9-0 in his MMA career, with seven of those wins coming by knockout or TKO and most ending in the first round.

Davis will be looking at a quick turn around to get ready for UFC 112, having won his first UFC fight on Feb. 6 at UFC 109 in dominant fashion with a unanimous decision over former WEC light-heavyweight champion Brian Stann. "Mr. Wonderful" was an NCAA freestyle wrestling champion in 2008, and holds a 5-0 career MMA record.

UFC 112 will be headlined by two championship matches, when BJ Penn defends the lightweight title against Frankie Edgar and middleweight champion Anderson Silva faces Demian Maia.
