Fighting and Entertainment Group (FEG) announced today MMA legend Kazushi Sakuraba's opponent for Tuesday's DREAM 11 as the longtime Pride veteran will take on MMA newcomer and boxing journeyman Rubin Williams at the event.

Sakuraba was announced as a late addition to DREAM 11 yesterday and his opponent was not revealed in the announcement.

Williams told reporters at the press conference, where the announcement was made, that he has been training in MMA for approximately a year and he also revealed that he does not know much about his opponent, Sakuraba.

The 33-year old Williams has compiled a 29-8-1 record (16 KOs) during his eight-year boxing career. He was a cast member on the third season of "The Contender" reality series on ESPN, but he is perhaps best known for his IBF Super Middleweight title fight against Jeff Lacy in 2005, where he suffered a seventh round TKO loss.

Williams is in the midst of a slump, as he is 0-6-1 in his last seven bouts, which includes losses to notable boxers such as Allan Green and Andre Ward. He most recently lost in July to Mark Tucker (10-0) in a 176-pound bout.

The 40-year-old Sakuraba (24-12-1) has lost his last two bouts against Melvin Manhoef and most recently Kiyoshi Tamura at K-1/DREAM Dynamite!! New Year's Eve event. He has not had a win since April 2008, where he defeated Andrews Nakahara at DREAM 2.

Sakuraba, the 13-year veteran, has fought the majority of his career with the now-defunct PRIDE organization, where he went 18-8-1 in 27 fights with the Japanese promotion. Sakuraba has much more experience than his opponent, as he has fought against some of the top names in MMA and he earned his infamous nickname, "The Gracie Hunter," by defeating members of the legendary family, including Renzo, Royce, Royler and Ryan Gracie.

DREAM 11 takes place on Oct. 6 from the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan. The event  also features the semi-finals of DREAM's open-weight "Super Hulk" tournament, as well as a rubber match between Joachim Hansen and Shinya Aoki for the promotion's lightweight title.
