Quinton Jackson on fight with Jon Jones: "Don't worry, I got this"
by Hubert Lau on August 11, 2011

Quinton Jackson goes into his upcoming bout with Jon Jones at UFC 135 with no lack of confidence as he recently addressed his fans and the light heavyweight title bout through his personal video blog.

Jackson (32-8) has faced criticism concerning his dedication to MMA in the past and recently in his preparations for Jones. Some, including Rashad Evans, questions his resolve and believe that Jackson lacks the proper mental tools to become champion once again.

Obviously Jackson has conflicting views to his critics. As he resides within his gym, Jackson states that he has been training harder than ever and promises to win the UFC's light heavyweight title. Furthermore he declares himself as the toughest opponent Jones would have to face; pointing out that Shogun was coming off of an injury in his bout with Jones at UFC 128.

As the former Pride superstar and former UFC light heavyweight champion, Quinton definitely has experience on his side. He recently defeated Lyoto Machida and Matt Hamill in successive bouts that lead him to his current title shot with Jones.

Jones vs. Jackson headlines at UFC 135 will be held on September 24, 2011 at the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado.

 |  (45) Comments Lady Dragon 420: I'm def going to be throwing a ufc party for this one ya dig! SicJits: Same thing Page always says pre-fight, at least Bones won't bore up this fight like Rashad did by leg humping page GO HARD: almost feel bad for rampage... q: / knees to the body... oh oh oh... q: 0 Giada Esposito: I'm looking forward to this fight a lot, but I'm afraid Rampage is going to get hurt. Badly. SicJits: Page has looked more flat-footed and slow of late. And for everyone that is supposed to give Bones probs on the ground or with their power.....well hasn't happend yet. Hammil proved the best way to beat Bones is to hope he hits you with an illegal blow while your already balled up in pain. :D IwishIwasMMA: I think Page has trouble KOing people due to his training. His camp sucks. He has no one pushing him. He is a great fighter who has yes men around him. Wolf's lair is one of the worst camps out of the "high profile" "top end" camps. GO HARD: and rampage has all the tools to be champ... Great Power, Great TDD, Sub Defence... GReat Chin... he has all that... could use work on speed and movement more than anything at this point... i dont think its about camps, its about his desire. everybody is so quick to talk about what this camp can do for someone, what that camp can do for someone... some of that is true... but there is scrubs on every camp, and i use that work scrub very lossely... we arent in these camps ... so we dont know, we can only assume what they can do, thats why im not a big fan of "they should switch camps" talk cuz its not always and most often isnt the case. GO HARD: its like when someone says.. oh this fighter shouldnt talk about anyone but his opponent... it aint got nothing to do with them looking past them, it just makes them look stupid if they lose the fight they are training for.. people act like fighters are retards, thats why i love when fighters just speak they mind and tell you about every possible fight ... even during their camps. all that "looking past their opponeent" is just for excuses if they lose to their current opponent. Hizoka: I think this fight makes Rampage think hes an actor again Hizoka: funny when the Miletich camp held all the title every champion was finishing fights... its seems like overall the bulk of Jackson fighters just monkey hump till time runs out...
