Rafael Assuncao vs. Jameel Massouh Set For WEC 40

Newly signed top-ranked featherweight Rafael Assuncao will fight fellow WEC newcomer Jameel Massouh in his WEC debut at "WEC 40: Torres vs. Mizugaki".

Assuncao has a 12-1 MMA record and he is currently riding high on a four-fight winning streak. Assuncao's lone career loss was to current WEC bantamweight fighter Jeff Curran.

Massouh enters the WEC currently riding a five-fight winning streak with his last win taking place in St. Petersburg, Russia for Fight Force last Saturday.
