Randy Couture has agreed to address the Green Bay Packers before they take on the Oakland Raiders on December 9.

Jay Glazer of Fox Sports apparently brought the two sides together according to Packer Head Coach Mike McCarthy.

“Jay and I were watching Randy’s last fight, and we got on to the subject of talking to the players and finding different ways to get your message across to them. I was telling Jay that one of the platforms we like to use is having guest speakers come and talk to the team about relevant subjects or themes.”

“We often talk to our team about being smart and tough football players,” McCarthy said. “In talking with Jay, he recommended Randy as the perfect example of someone who could talk to our players about being smart and tough. His fights over the years exemplify this.”

Brett Favre ought to be excited about this news as he is said to be a huge Couture fan.
