Randy Couture: "Can't we all just get along."
by Paulo Silva on November 15, 2007

UFC President Dana White and UFC Heavyweight Champion Randy Couture haven't exactly seen eye to eye over the past month. Through dueling press conferences the two have gone at one other in a cutthroat a media battle that has seen both sides produce private financial documents; each one blaming the other for a riff that seems to do with money and respect. This battle may come to an end on Tuesday Nov. 20 when the two men will meet for dinner to discuss the situation face-to-face for the first time since Couture's resignation.

White told Fox Sports that he received a text message Thursday from Couture asking that the two have dinner.

"He said, 'Can't we all just get along?' " White said while attending a news conference for Saturday night's UFC 78 pay-per-view show.

White has said that Couture has until next week to decide whether to accept a proposed fight with Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira in February. Whether Couture will accept or not is still up in the air according to White.

"I don't know. We'll see. We'll find out what his end game is. This whole thing makes no sense to me. No sense at all."
