"I'm very intrigued by him and his style and what he's done. He's so patient. He doesn't care what the crowd's saying. He's gonna fight the way he's gonna fight and he doesn't give a rip. He's been very successful and I've enjoyed watching him fight. He seems like a very, very genuine nice guy and he's got a unique fighting style which intrigues me. I'd have to rely heavily on my wrestling background set him up cut him off he uses a lot of motion. I'd have to find a way to get my hands on him and that's been a challenge for everyone so far. He's very elusive. He has tremendous tremendous angles and footwork, very interesting posture. So, yeah, he poses some very interesting problems."

-Former light heavyweight champion Randy Couture tells "The Scoop" that he's very intrigued with a possible match up against UFC lightweight champion Lyoto Machida. Machida has run through all comers tallying a perfect 15-0 record in his MMA career and earning notable wins over Stephan Bonnar, Rich Franklin, B.J. Penn, Tito Ortiz, Thiago Silva and Rashad Evans. Couture states that he would have to rely heavily on his substantial wrestling abilities in order to counter Machida's unorthodox and highly effective style.

Couture faces fellow legend Antonio Rodrigo Noguiera at UFC 102 on Aug. 29.
