The hit summer action movie, "The Expendables," may be filled with some of the most celebrated action stars, but director/producer/actor Sylvester Stallone said that UFC fighter Randy Couture is the toughest guy of them all.
With fellow actors like Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, Steve Austin, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger, it might be difficult to land on the top of the pack, but for Couture, his co-star gave him all the praise.
"A fight between Randy Couture and anyone would last as long as it takes him to get across the ring," Stallone told Maxim (August issue). "When he grabs and throws you, it's the real deal. Violence to him is like you having juice in the morning."
But he wasn't done there. On a recent trip to "Late Show with David Letterman," Stallone continued the accolades, saying that stuntmen were asking him to not let Couture touch them anymore because he was using his MMA-formed strength to the best of his abilities. Even Steve Austin was worried that Couture would take him out.
"If you put all these tough guys... in a room together and let's see who comes out. If you walked in 10 minutes later, you'd see Randy Couture sitting on top of us having a chocolate fudge sundae."
"The Expendables" opens in theaters nationwide on August 13.
