Thunder Promotions has recently put together a fight card straight out of the old Pride playbook of freakshows. The fledgling promotion has announced that renowned rapper DMX will take on Eric Martinez, actor and video producer, in a celebrity exhibition boxing match.
DMX is best known as a rapper and actor, but he has also had his fair share of run-ins with the law. DMX has made headlines for multiple arrests over his career involving offenses such as animal cruelty, reckless driving, unlicensed driving, drug possession and identity falsification.
The event will be headlined by former UFC legend Tank Abbott as he takes on former Tuffman contestant-turned-boxer Eric 'Butterbean' Esch. It takes place on Dec. 12 in Birmingham, AL.
