Rashad Evans "Not Scared" of Lyoto Machida
by Jason Benfari on February 07, 2009

"His strategy going into that fight was all wrong. He probably just didn't have the tools to match Machida. Machida is clever man, that dude is tough. I'm not scared. Machida is tough. I gotta lot of respect for him but I'm gonna win.

- Rashad Evans talks with Steve Cofield about why he believes Thiago Silva came up short against Lyoto Machida and what his prospects will be going into a fight with the unbeaten Brazilian wrecking machine.

Evans appears headed for a showdown with either Machida or Quinton "Rampage" Jackson some time in May or June depending on how things shake out between Jackson and Keith Jardine. The two face each other at UFC 96 in March. If Jackson wins he'll likely face Evans, if not, expect Machida to get the nod.
