Rick Story vs. Jesse Lennox in the works for UFC Fight Night 20
by Jacob Camargo on October 17, 2009

Fights continue to be booked at a fast pace for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 20 event, as a welterweight tilt between Rick Story and Jesse Lennox is the latest addition to the January event. Both men have verbally agreed to the bout according to a report from MMAjunkie.com.

Though yet officially unannounced, UFN 20 is tentatively set for Jan. 11 in Virginia, and the event's main card will be televised live on Spike TV.

Story (8-3) is coming off a very impressive second round submission win over Brian Foster at UFC 103 on Sept. 19. His performance earned the evening's "Submission of the Night" and "Fight of the Night" awards for a total of $130,000 in bonus money.

Prior to his UFC 103 win, Story was defeated in his UFC debut by John Hathaway at UFC 99 in June. The longtime Elite Warriors Championship has finished five of his eight career wins and holds notable career wins over Brandon Melendez, Ryan Healy and Jake Ellenberger.

Lennox is currently riding a four fight winning streak, which includes wins over Blas Avena at WEC 38, and a victory over Danillo Villefort at UFC 101 in his UFC debut in August. Prior to the winning streak, he suffered his lone career loss at the hands of Emyr Bussade at an IFL event in April of 2008.

The Miletich Fighting Systems product sports a near flawless MMA record of 11-1, with all of his wins coming by stoppage. He holds a notable win outside of ZUFFA organizations over former UFC fighter Ryan Thomas.
