Being the son of a legend is one thing. Deciding to follow that legend into his arena is another.

Ryan Couture, the 27 year old son of UFC Hall of Famer and MMA legend Randy Couture will make his professional debut against Lucas Stark at Strikeforce Challengers 10 on August 13th in Phoenix, AZ.

The younger Couture has accumulated an amateur record of 5-1-1 while fighting for local promotions in the Las Vegas area. Both father and son train at Xtreme Couture.

Couture has signed a multi-fight deal with Strikeforce and will compete in their lightweight division.
