Lightweights Sam Stout and Kyle Bradley will look to build upon recent victories inside the octagon when they square off at UFC fight night 19 on September 16. News of the bout came via MMAjunkie.com.
Stout is coming off a win over Matt Wiman in a bout that earned the pair "Fight of the Night" honors at UFC 97 in April. Prior to the win, Stout had lost his past two bouts against Rich Clementi at UFC 83 and Terry Etim at UFC 89. The longtime TKO veteran, Stout, is now 3-4 in 7 fights with the UFC and is probably most known for his two exciting battles against Spencer Fisher in which each fighter won one.
Bradley also snapped a two-fight losing streak in his last fight by defeating TUF 8 lightweight runner-up Phillipe Nover at UFC 98 in May. As mentioned, Bradley started off with the UFC 0-2, with both losses coming via TKO against Chris Lytle and Joe Lauzon respectively. Prior to entering the UFC, the Tean Voodoo fighter put together a seven fight win streak and is clearly adept at finishing fights as thirteen of his fourteen career wins came via stoppage.
UFN 19 is slated to take place at the Cox Convention Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and will air live on Spike TV. The debut episode of TUF season 10 will follow the event. Other bouts slated for the card include a lightweight bout between Roger Huerta and Gray Maynard as well as a middleweight scrap between Dan Miller and Aaron Simpson.
