The official weigh-in ceremony for the Sengoku 10th Battle took place today and all fighters competing at the event successfully made weight without incident.

Sengoku 10 will take place early Wed. morning, Sept. 23, at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan and will air live in North America at 3:00 AM ET on HDNet. For those who miss the live airing, the replay will air at 4:00 p.m. ET on Friday, Sept. 25, on HDNet.

The event will be headlined by 2004 Olympic Judo silver medalist Hiroshi Izumi as he makes his MMA debut against kickboxer and fellow MMA newcomer, Antz Nansen. Izumi came in right at 205 lbs for the light-heavyweight bout and Nansen tipped the scales at 204.1 pounds.

In the co-main event, former Elite XC heavyweight champion Antonio Silva will look to extend his win streak to six as he takes on New Zealand's Jim York. Silva tipped the scales at a heavier then usual 270 pounds, while York came in at 253.1 pounds.

Other notable bouts on the card include former IFL lightweight champion Ryan "The Lion" Schultz facing Kazunori Yokota and UFC veteran Joe Doerksen taking on Takenori Sato in a middleweight bout. A very interesting welterweight bout between Dan Hornbuckle and Nick "The Goat" Thompson will also take place on the card.
