The official weigh-in ceremony for tomorrow's Sengoku 11th Battle event took place today and all 22 fighters competing at the event successfully made weight without incident.
Sengoku 11 takes place early Saturday morning, Nov. 7, at Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo, Japan and will air live in North America at 2:00 a.m. ET on HDNet, with an encore presentation set to air that evening at 8:00 p.m. ET.
Headlining the event is a featherweight bout between top-ten ranked featherweight Hatsu Hioki and UFC veteran Michihiro Omigawa. Both fighters weighed in a 143.1 pounds.
In the co-main event, Sengoku middleweight champion Jorge Santiago will take on highly touted prospect Mamed Khalidov in a non-title fight. Santiago came in at 183 pounds, while Mamed Khalidov tipped the scales at a slightly lighter 181.7 pounds.
Other notable bouts on the stacked card include UFC veteran Kevin Randleman as he takes on Stanislav Nedkov in a light-heavyweight bout , Jim York will be facing Bellator veteran Dave Herman in heavyweight action and a highly anticipated lightweight bout in Satoru Kitaoka vs. Jorge Masvidal will also take place at the event.
In addition, longtime Pride veteran Akihiro Gono looks to get back to his winning ways when he takes on Yoon Young Kim in a welterweight bout and Marlon Sandro will take on Yuji Hoshino in a featherweight contest.
