Spike TV airing UFC Prelims for UFC 130, Alves/Story and Torres/Pickett rumored
by Tim Groves on March 22, 2011

UFC 130 will feature a UFC Preliminary broadcast on Spike TV prior to the pay-per-view, according to MMAJunkie.com.

While the bouts weren't officially announced, based on the fight card page at UFC.com, Thiago Alves vs. Rick Story and Miguel Torres vs. Brad Pickett will likely be shown on Spike.

UFC 130 will mark the third straight event to feature preliminary fights on Spike TV. After skipping UFC 127, Spike showed two bouts for UFC 128 and have already scheduled a preliminary special for UFC 129 in April.

The UFC and Spike have agreed to broadcast 12 preliminary specials in 2011; UFC 130 will be the fourth.

UFC 130 takes place on May 28, in Las Vegas, Nevada. It features a lightweight title rematch between Frankie Edgar and Gray Maynard.

 |  (5) Comments snuff: Can't believe Alves is only in the prelims. The Hitman: Not sure how the hell Alves is on the Prelims, but nice. Torres vs, Pickett should be a really good one too Giada Esposito: Alves being in the prelims has to be about the most retarded thing ever. It's good for Spike though, which probably explains it. Wandering_Minstrel: Pickett FTW!
