Strikeforce Challengers: "Villasenor vs. Cyborg" official weigh-in results

Strikeforce Challengers: "Villasenor vs. Cyborg", which is the promotion's second challenger series offering, is officially set to go down as all fighters competing on tonight's event tipped the scales at the ShoWare Center yesterday.

Strikeforce Challengers: "Villasenor vs. Cyborg" will take place tonight night, June 19, at the ShoWare Center in Kent, Washington, and the main card will be televised on Showtime. The event is headlined by a middleweight clash between heavy-hitters Joey Villasenor and Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos. Both men made weight with Santos coming in at a ripped 185-pounds. The two are really itching to get at each other after getting  into a minor fracas at the weigh-ins after an intense stare down. The two stood nose-to-nose, which resulted in a little shove from Santos. Villasenor then retaliated and Santos' grabbed Villasenor's neck before they were ultimately separated and ushered off stage.

In the co-main event, Nick Thompson will move up to middleweight to face Tim Kennedy. The always affable Thompson weighed-in at 185-pounds and his counterpart, Kennedy, came in one-pound less at 184.

The Washington State Athletic Commission doesn't allow the one pound difference in weight for non-title bouts during the weigh-ins, which is different from other commissions, so Strikeforce attempted to solve any problems by moving some bouts to catchweights in the event that any of the fighters didn't make the target weight.

A total number of 5 bouts are now catchweights on the fight card including Jorge Gurgel vs. Conor Heun , which will now be fought at 160 lbs.

Justin Davis vs. Dennis Hallman will also be fought at a catchweight (195 lbs.). Davis failed to make weight for the bout with Hallman, however, he will not be penalized because he's a late-replacement for Cedric Marks, who was previously medically suspended.

Other bouts of note include a battle of middleweight prospects between Cory Devela and Luke Rockhold as well as the evening's lone female bout -- Shayna Baszler vs. Sarah Kaufman. Lightweights Duane Ludwig and Lyle Beerbohm will battle it out on the undercard in a highly anticipated scrap.
