Strikeforce signs undefeated welterweight prospect Roger Bowling

Strikeforce continues to fill its roster with talented prospects. The most recent signing by the promotion being that of one of the most prized young fighters on the market: undefeated welterweight prospect Roger Bowling. News of Bowling's signing to Strikeforce was reported by FiveOuncesofPain.com.

According to the report, Bowling was expected to debut with Strikeforce in November, however, an injury has pushed back his debut.

Bowling most recently defeated Devon Plaisance via TKO less than a minute into their fight at MMA Big Show: "Unstoppable" in July. He has fought the majority of his career with MMA Big Show, fighting four of his six career bouts with the promotion.

Since turning pro in June 2007, Bowling has put together a 6-0 MMA record, with all of his wins coming by stoppage. He holds a notable wins over fellow welterweight prospect and recent Strikeforce signee Shamar Bailey.
