After the win between Justin and Wes, Team Rashad is on a role and ready to take it all the way.
First off, I did drink the first couple of days I was there but I did not drink before my fight or before practice. I have been fighting long enough to know that is a stupid thing to do. I believe there was major editing on this episode. After the first couple days of drinking, my coaches pulled me into the office and stated that I had too much potential to let drinking get in the way of my fighting. I stopped drinking and did not drink for three weeks straight before my fight.
In the beginning, everything was ok, good fun with Rampage, but after a while it got really, really old. It seems to me like Rampage should have been paying more attention to his team than to me.
"The Picture"... Watching the episode for the first time, I saw the infamous picture of our team and could not stop laughing. It was too funny. I can't believe they would go out of their way to do that, but I have to give it to them because it was too darn funny!
Going into the house, Zak was always picked on, but I was not going to underestimate him for I knew he had to have something to show for, because they do not bring random bums into the house to fight. You can not take someone lightly with a 7-2 record. Going into the fight, I knew that he likes to stand and throw wild. So my game plan was to throw straight down the middle, wear him down in the cage if he got too wild, and go back to boxing. I was surprised that I did not knock him out. He took me down and I went straight to a triangle choke. I was not worried about his ground and pound - just about making the choke tighter and tighter.
Overall, it was a good fight. Zak brought it. He took some really good shots and also gave them. I give him a lot of respect.
