TUF 10 viewership hits season record low
by Natalia Baage on November 15, 2009

The hype of The Ultimate Fighter season 10 is fizzling out as last Wednesday's episode scored a season low 2.4 million viewers.

This season's premiere episode garnered 4.1 million viewers, which was the highest debut airings of any TUF season.

Aside from the third episode that earned 5.3 million viewers (breaking the record that the premiere episode had set), which featured Kimbo Slice vs. Roy Nelson, TUF 10 viewership has been on a slow, yet steady, decline.

Episode 1 :  4.1  (Jon Madsen d. Abe Wagner)

Episode 2:   2.9  (James McSweeney d. Wes Shivers)

Episode 3:   5.3  (Roy Nelson d. Kimbo Slice)

Episode 4:   2.8  (Brendan Schaub d. Demico Rogers)

Episode 5:   2.8  (Justin Wren d. Wes Sims)

Episode 6:   2.8  (Darrill Schoonover d. Zak Jensen)

Episode 7:   2.5  (Matt Mitrione d. Scott Junk)

Episode 8:   2.5  (Marcus Jones d. Mike Wessel)

Episode 9:   2.4  (Roy Nelson d. Justin Wren)

This week's episode will feature the second quarterfinal bout - a fight between Jon Madsen and Brendan Schaub.  Tune in on Wednesday at 10 p.m. EST to see who wins.  The two remaining quarterfinals (for future episodes) are James McSweeney vs. Matt Mitrione and Marcus Jones vs. Darrill Schoonover.
