TUF winner Jonathan Brookins to face Jeremy Stephens at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale

Jonathan Brookins and Jeremy Stephens are reportedly set to fight at The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale, according to MMAJunkie.com

The event takes place on June 4th in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Brookins/Stephens bout will likely be aired on the Spike TV televised portion of the event.

Brookins beat fellow cast mate Michael Johnson to win the 12th season of the Ultimate Fighter as a lightweight. Prior to that Brookins had competed in the featherweight division in both Bellator and the WEC. Brookins was best known for sustaining an inordinate amount of damage in his WEC debut to Jose Aldo, before finally succumbing to strikes in round three.

His opponent, Jeremy Stephens, is coming off of a brutal knockout of Marcus Davis at UFC 125. Prior to that he suffered a controversial split decision loss to Melvin Guillard at UFC 119. He had previously reeled off two straight victories. The native of Iowa is known for his penchant to participate in brawls, employing his iron clad chin and knock out power to pull out a victory.

The Ultimate Fighter 13 Finale is headlined by a lightweight bout between lightweights Anthony Pettis and Clay Guida.
