The UFC has recently added rising undefeated prospect Rodney "Shonuff" Wallace to its stacked and competitive light-heavyweight division. Financial terms were not readily available, however, the contract is set for four fights.
News of Wallace's signing to the UFC was first reported by FiveOuncesOfPain.com. It is not yet known as to when Wallace will make his Octagon debut.
Wallace is fresh off winning an eight-man tournament at Vendetta Fighting Championship: "A Night of Vengeance" on Sept. 5 in Aruba. He defeated the likes of Gregory Milliard, Aaron Stark and Antwain Britt in a single night, finishing Stark and Britt by submission.
Wallace has fought for other promotions during his career, such as Revolution Fight Club, Vengeance Fighting Championship, and M-1 Global. Since turning pro in April 2008, he has put together an undefeated 8-0 MMA record, with five wins coming by decision and three by stoppages.
