Tim Hague Released from the UFC
by Thomas Casale on January 27, 2011

Tim Hague's return to the UFC didn't last long. The veteran heavyweight was cut by the organization on Thursday after his loss to Matt Mitrione this past weekend.

Hague went 1-3 in his first stint with the UFC. His return lasted just 2:59. That's how long it took Mitrione to dispose of Hague at Fight for the Troops. 2. Now Hague is once again a fighter without a home.

"After getting released from the UFC again today, I'm gonna take a little break away from MMA, let the brain heal from my concussion, and get the passion/fire back," Hague posted on his Facebook page. "Even toying with the idea of trying a cut to 205. I will be back though, I'm only 27, and I will make it back to the UFC."

Making it back to the UFC could be a tall order for Hague considering how quickly he was let go this time around. Cutting to 205 may be an even bigger stretch for the 6'4, 260-pound Hague.
