Todd Duffee looking to fight top UFC fighters

"I expected him to come out aggressive, I waited for him to make the first move and I countered with the jab. I kind of felt him on the ground, I saw him go ‘Oh Shit!’ so I was like ‘Man, maybe he’s hurt’ so I went after him. I want to fight the best of the best. I want to fight the top guys when they’re at the top. I want to find out where I stand in the history books. I don’t want the ‘gimme fights’ because I train too hard and work too hard to do that."

Undefeated heavyweight prospect Todd Duffee talks at a post-fight press conference regarding his seven-second knockout win over Tim Hague at last night's UFC 102 in Portland, Oregon. The 23-year old's quick knockout set the new UFC record for fastest knockout.

UFC president Dana White said that Duffee pulled him aside after the win and told him he is ready to fight as soon as possible and he wants his future opponents to be top competition.

The American Top Team product signed with the UFC way back in February and was originally supposed to debut against Mustapha Al Turk at UFC 99 in June. The UFC opted to pit Al Turk against the returning Mirko "Cro Cop" and Duffee was scratched from the event.

With the win at UFC 102, Duffee improved his MMA record to 5-0, with all wins by TKO or KO. He holds a notable win over UFC veteran Assuerio Silva, as Duffee is one of the few men to finish Silva.
