Todd Duffee is victorious for the first time since 2009 as he knocks out Niel Grove at Super Fight League 2 according to mmafighting.com.
It didn't take long for Duffee to get to work as he looked for a takedown early and followed up with a right hook that floored Grove. Heavy punches from Duffee on top were enough to end the fight at just 34 seconds into the first round.
It is good to see Duffee back to his winning ways. Duffee, who recently joined the American Kickboxing Academy, thanked the San Jose based team for his success and looks to fight again soon.
Duffee was once touted as a top up-and-comer in the UFC's heavyweight division but this was before losing to Mike Russow at UFC 114. Another loss to Alistair Overeem at Dynamite!! 2010 sent Duffee into obscurity.
With the win Duffee is 1-2 over his last three fights and by knocking out the 41 year old Grove, Duffee hands Grove his third straight loss.
