Todd Duffee vs. Nick Gaston and Kenji Osawa vs. Keisuke Fujiwara set for Dream 17
by Hubert Lau on June 15, 2011

Todd Duffee to fight Nick Gaston and Kenji Osawa vs. Keisuke Fujiwara booked for Dream 17 according to mmajunkie.com.

Duffee was once thought to be one of the brightest prospects in the UFC's heavyweight division, earning the fastest knockout in the UFC in his debut and holding an undefeated 6-0 record at the time. A subsequent knockout lost to Mike Russow and the dismantlement by Alistair Overeem now puts the 25 year old on a two fight skid.

Looking to extend Duffee's losing streak to three fights, Gaston comes into the bout undefeated and also has his last four victories coming by the way of stoppages. He holds notable wins over TUF season 10 veteran, Darrill Schoonover, and Josh Watson.

Another bout on the Dream 17 card will be Osawa fighting Fujiwara. The winner of the bout will gain admission to the Dream bantamweight grand prix tournament later this year. Osawa holds a 17-10-2 record, going 4-2 in his last six bouts. Fujiwara is 11-3 and went 4-1-1 in his last six bouts. Both men are coming off losses and will look to get back on the win column with a victory over the other.

Dream 17 will be held on July 16, 2011 at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan.
