Tyron Woodley has agreed to fight Paul Daley at Strikeforce: Fedor vs. Henderson on July 30. Daley was originally scheduled to meet Evangelista "Cyborg" Santos, but Cyborg was forced to pull out due to a shoulder injury.
The fight had been speculated to be for the Strikeforce welterweight title due to current Strikeforce champion Nick Diaz moving to the UFC to fight Georges St. Pierre. However, it has been confirmed that the fight will be a non-title, 3 round contest.
Paul Daley (27-10-2), is 1-1 in Strikeforce fights after losing to champion Nick Diaz by TKO in April. He is feared knockout artist with 20 KO's to his credit.
Woodley (8-0) is a highly regarded welterweight prospect. He is undefeated in his professional MMA career and 6-0 in Strikeforce fights, having most recently out pointed Tarec Saffiedine at Strikeforce Challengers: Woodley vs. Saffiedine in January.
