The California State Athletic Commission has released their list of medical suspensions for the fighters who competed at Saturday night's UFC 104. The information was requested by MMAJunkie.com.
The main event's fighters, Lyoto Machida and Mauricio "Shogun" Rua, received different fates. Machida was suspended for 60 days (all with no contact) for an upper lip laceration on the left side. Rua, on the other hand, did not receive any suspension.
The longest suspension of the night was given two double bonus winner Pat Barry, who was suspended for up to six months. Barry might have a fracture in his left wrist. If he is cleared by a doctor, he is cleared to return.
His opponent, Antoni Hardonk, was suspended for 45 days (30 days no contact) resulting in his TKO loss.
Two fights received identical suspensions for the same injury. Ben Rothwell (who was TKO'ed by Cain Velasquez) and Spencer Fisher (who was defeated by Joe Stevenson, submission due to strikes) each received a 45-day suspension (30 days no contact). In addition, they both also received a second suspension of 60 days (all with no contact) for right eye lacerations.
Eric Schafer received a 60-day suspension (all with no contact) due to a laceration on the right side of his nose, acquired during his unanimous decision loss to Ryan Bader. If cleared by a doctor, he could return earlier.

Rob Kimmons was also suspended for 45 days (30 days no contact), with an additional suspension of 60 days (all with no contact) for a laceration on the left side of his forehead suffered in his TKO loss to Jorge Rivera.
