UFC 105: "Couture vs. Vera" is officially set to go down as all 22 participants competing on tomorrow night's event successfully made weight without incident earlier today. The weigh-ins took place at the Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, England, as broadcast live via FiveKnuckles.com.
UFC 105 takes place tomorrow, on Nov. 14, at the same venue, and the event's main card will be televised via tape delay on Spike TV beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
The event is headlined by a light-heavyweight bout between UFC Hall-of-Famer Randy Couture and Brandon Vera. Both weighed-in at 204 pounds.
In the co-main event, welterweights Mike Swick and Dan Hardy will battle it out to possibly determine the next challenger for UFC welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre. The pair shared in the most notable moment of the event, as they had the day's most intense staredown. Hardy came in at 171 lbs, while Swick tipped the scales at a svelte 170 pounds.
Also, hometown favorite Michael Bisping will look to rebound from a devastating knockout loss against Dan Henderson when he takes on highly regarded veteran Denis Kang. Both men also engaged in an intense nose-to-nose staredown. Bisping weighed-in at 186 pounds and Kang came in at 185 pounds.
Other bouts on the main card include TUF 9 welterweight winner James Wilks taking on the hard-hitting Matt Brown and TUF 9 lightweight winner Ross Pearson as he faces well-traveled veteran Aaron Riley.
