Two UFC 106 undercard bouts will air on Spike TV ahead of the pay-per-view fights. One match up will be between welterweights Marcus Davis and Ben Saunders, while the other will be a middleweight clash between Jake Rosholt and Kendall Grove.
Sources close to MMA.Fanhouse.com confirmed the information today, saying that an official announcement of the undercard bouts will be released within the next few days.
This will be the third time that Spike has aired undercard bouts of a UFC event. Previously, the network aired undercard fights of UFC 103 and UFC 104. Both times, the viewership was 1.4 million. For UFC 103, Spike showed Tomasz Drwal defeat Drew McFedries and Efrain Escudero pick up a win Cole Miller. For UFC 104, they aired Pat Barry winning over Antoni Hardonk and Ryan Bader coming out the victor over Eric Schafer.
UFC 106 takes place on Nov. 21 in Las Vegas. The main event is a rematch between two former light-heavyweight champions, Tito Ortiz and Forrest Griffin.
