Mirko Filipovic vs. Brendan Schaub

round 1- Schaub begins with a left kick then charges and lands a decent flurry. Cro Cop gets his back away from the cage and takes the center again. Schaub pushes him to the fence again where he tries some dirty boxing. Herb Dean pauses the fight and gives Schaub a "strong warning" for strikes to the back of the head. The action continues and Schaub takes Cro Cop down. Schaub looks to stand and pounce and eats an upkick for his trouble. Schaub gets into Cro Cop's guard where he scores with some nice ground and pound shots. Schaub tries to pass but Cro Cop scrambles free and back to his feet. Schaub pins him to the fence and lands some dirty boxing and a nice knee to the body. Fiveknuckles scores it 10-9 for Schaub.

round 2- Schaub comes out looking confident and swinging for the fences. Cro Cop throws the patented high kick but it's partially blocked and Schaub takes him down. Schaub scores some more ground and pound then Cro Cop hits him with a solid upkick while his knee is still on the at, prompting yet another Herb Dean time out. They resume and each fighter lands a good right then they clinch to the fence again where they trade knees to the body. Cro Cop looks for the plum but then lands a solid upper cut. Schaub is probably getting the better of the exchanges at this point, mostly knees to the body then Cro Cop lands a really nice elbow that draws blood from the nose of Schaub. Herb Dean takes a point from Schaub...
