Match-ups Tyson Griffin vs. Bart Palaszewski and Tim Credeur vs. Brad Tavares added to UFC 137 according to ufc.com.

Griffin (15-5) has long established himself among the UFC's lightweight ranks until his recent drop back to the featherweight division in his bout against Manvel Gamburyan at UFC on Versus 4. Griffin performed well at 145, beating Gamburyan via unanimous decision. Griffin's last significant bout at featherweight dates back to 2005 when he defeated Urijah Faber in the third round via TKO to win the Gladiator Challenge Featherweight Title.

Palaszewski (35-14) is a true veteran of the sport, nearly 50 fights. Palaszewski is currently 4-1 in his last five fights, recently on the losing end of a split decision to Kamal Shalorus at WEC 53. His fight with Griffin will be his first in 2011.

Credeur (12-4) will look to rebound from two straight defeats, recently losing to Ed Herman via TKO in just 48 seconds, with a win over Tavares. Credeur is mostly recognized for his time spent on The Ultimate Fighter season seven as well as for his slug-fest with Nate Quarry.

Tavares (7-1) is also another former contestant in The Ultimate Fighter, debuting in season 11. In his UFC debut he defeated fellow cast member, Seth Baczynski, and followed it up with a TKO victory over veteran, Phil Baroni. His recent outing saw the Hawaiian drop a unanimous decision to Aaron Simpson.

UFC 137 will be held on October 29 in the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event is headlined by a welterweight title bout between the champion, George St. Pierre, defending his crown against former Strikerforce welterweight champion, Nick Diaz.
