UFC 99 Main Card Blow-By-Blow:

Main Event: Wanderlei Silva vs. Rich Franklin

Round one: The start of the the main event begins with a touch of the gloves.  They circle, looking for an opening.  Silva swings for an early KO but finds nothing but air.  Franklin lands a body kick that doesn't seem to phase Silva.  Silva throws a dangerous high  kick but just grazes Franklin and Silva catches a Franklin kick, turning it into a takedown.  Franklin pulls guard but Silva lands some ground and pound until Franklin quickly gets to his feet then ends up on top of Silva.  Franklin returns the ground and pound favor then Silva escapes.  Silva is cut and swollen on his nose.  We'll score a 10-9 for Franklin.

Round two: Silva attempts another high kick then lands a body kick.  Franklin answers with a flurry of punches then an inside leg kick.  Silva gets knocked on his butt by a straight left by Franklin but springs right up.  Both fighters are throwing punches but Franklin is picking Silva apart.  Silva then lands a huge right and has Franklin in some trouble.  Silva stalks as he gains momentum but Franklin recovers.  Silva inflicted a bit more damage in a close round and wins it 10-9 on FiveKnuckles' card.

Round three:  They trade flurries to start the final round, Franklin getting the better of the exchanges.  Franklin lands an accidental groin kick but Silva isn't hurt.  It's turned into a war on their feet but Silva seems to be slowing gradually but waves the crowd on as he energizes and pushes forward.  Silva lands some shots but they clinch at the cage and Franklin lands punches from behind while Silva lands elbows from the front.  We're giving the round to...
